Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted on infrastructure provided by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When you visit this site, the hosting provider automatically records technical access data in server log files, such as your (anonymized or shortened, where applicable) IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamp of the request. This processing is necessary to deliver the website reliably and securely and is based on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Analytics (Vercel Web Analytics)

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies and does not store persistent identifiers to track individual visitors across sessions or websites. It collects aggregated information such as page views, referring pages, and general location and device type, which cannot reasonably be used to identify you personally. This helps me understand how the site is used so I can improve it. Processing is based on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). No consent banner is required for this feature, since no tracking technology is stored on your device.

Fonts

This website uses the Newsreader, Inter, and Material Symbols Outlined typefaces. All font files are self-hosted on this site's own infrastructure and served from this domain. No connection is made to Google or any other third-party font provider when you load this page, and no data is transmitted to them for this purpose.

Contact by email

If you contact me by email, the information you provide (your email address and message content) is used solely to process your inquiry and any follow-up correspondence. This processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or, where the inquiry relates to a potential contract, on pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Data retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by statutory retention obligations, after which it is deleted.
